Terms of Service
Effective 3 July 2026
These terms cover your use of BeStreak, the gym PR and workout tracking app. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.
1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, or using BeStreak ("the app", "the service"), provided by Mad Chaos ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
2. What BeStreak is
BeStreak is a gym and workout tracking application that lets you log personal bests, training sessions, body metrics, and progress photos, with optional cloud sync across devices. A free tier and a paid Premium tier are both available, as described on our pricing page.
Fitness disclaimer: BeStreak is a tracking tool, not medical or fitness advice. It does not evaluate whether an exercise, weight, or program is safe for you. Consult a qualified physician before starting any new exercise program, especially if you have an existing health condition. You are solely responsible for how you train.
3. Your account
- You must provide a valid email address to register, or sign in via Google.
- You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
- One account per person; don't share credentials or resell access.
4. Your content
Everything you log — workouts, personal bests, notes, voice memos, body measurements, and progress photos ("your content") — remains yours. We store it to provide the service (syncing it across your devices, backing it up) but claim no ownership over it and don't use it to train models, sell to advertisers, or share it publicly. You're responsible for making sure your content doesn't violate any law or infringe anyone else's rights (for example, don't upload a photo of someone else without their consent).
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or to BeStreak's backend infrastructure.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the app's source code beyond what's permitted by law.
- Use the app to store or transmit unlawful, abusive, or infringing content.
- Automate or scrape the service in a way that degrades it for other users.
- Circumvent Premium paywalls or purchase verification.
6. Subscriptions & payments
- Premium subscriptions (monthly or annual) are billed and processed through the Google Play Store on Android, and through Paddle — our authorised reseller and merchant of record — when you subscribe on the web.
- Pricing is shown in your local currency at checkout and may vary by region; the prices on our website are indicative and set in US dollars.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Manage or cancel anytime through your Google Play account settings (Android), or via the management link in your Paddle receipt (web) — cancelling stops future renewals but doesn't refund the current billing period.
- Refunds are handled according to Google Play's standard refund policy (Android) or Paddle's refund process (web), not directly by us.
7. Free tier & advertising
The free tier includes interstitial ads served via Google AdMob. Premium removes ads. We reserve the right to change ad placement or frequency, and to adjust which features are free versus Premium, with reasonable notice for material changes.
8. Availability & changes to the service
BeStreak works offline for core features, but sync, backup, and account features require an internet connection to Google Firebase infrastructure. We aim for high availability but don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, modify, or discontinue features over time; if we ever discontinue the service entirely, we'll provide reasonable notice and a way to export your data first.
9. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from within the app, which permanently removes your data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abuse, or attempt to circumvent payment systems.
10. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
BeStreak is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to injury sustained while training, or loss of data. Nothing in these terms excludes any consumer guarantee that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app evolves. We'll update the "Effective" date above when we do, and will highlight material changes in-app where practical. Continued use of BeStreak after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
